National Council for Skill Education, Sikkim
The bill for National Council for Skill Education was passed in 2023 in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly for promoting school education. The National Council for Skill Education (NCSE) is a State Government of Sikkim approved Board which is conducting School Education programmes for the upliftment of students. The Council shall establish its Head Office at Gangtok and District Centres at all Districts of Namchi, Gyalshing, Mangan, Pakyong and Soreng and spread the school education.
Programmes offered:
Secondary School Certificate (Class 10): Eligibility requires an 8th standard pass and being at least 14 years old.
Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class 12): Eligibility requires a 10th standard pass or equivalent. This program offers Arts, Commerce, and Science streams.
